Refunds are not accepted after the course has started or the student has been sent materials.

Online self-study courses:

As these courses are made immediately available to the student, no returns, refunds or exchanges are accepted, unless in exceptional circumstances, and only then on a case by case basis. This includes, but is not limited to, all courses hosted on the platform ThriveCart.

Conditions of Enrolment

We assume that the student will attend all the private lessons or group classes pre-paid by the student.

Private lessons can be rearranged as long as the student notifies us at least 24 hours in advance. This does not apply to group classes.

The teacher will wait no more than 15 minutes if you are late to a class. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notifying the teacher, then you forfeit the class. If you are late to a class, the class will not continue beyond the scheduled time.

We expect students to follow the rules we set. We expect students to behave reasonably at all times towards their teacher(s) and to respect cultural, racial and religious differences.

We may cancel or change a course or change the time of a course. If we do this, the school will offer an alternative at least cost-equivalent course, or give the student the relevant cost back.

If we are not able to offer a class at any time we will give at least two hours’ notice, and normally 24 hours’ notice, and an equivalent class at an alternative time or day will be offered to the student or the student will receive the relevant cost back for the cancelled class as a refund.

If your language level is not suitable for the course you have booked, we reserve the right to move you onto a different course.

Once the course has started students can increase the number of lessons and will be charged pro-rata for the increase but students cannot decrease the lessons. However lessons may sometimes be deferred or transferred by special agreement with us, although not beyond twelve months and they may not be transferred to another student.

Cancellations

Please note, any bank or other charges incurred by us will be deducted before issuing a refund.

For cancellations please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made within 24 hours will still be charged the full amount.

If a student cancels less than 48 hours before the lesson starts, a 50% refund will be given, or the class rearranged.

If a student cancels more than 48 hours before the lesson starts, a full refund will be given, or the class rearranged.

If a student cannot attend a group lesson, then they forfeit the class.

Extra note for courses:

If a student cancels a course less than 24 hours before the course starts or after the student has started, there will be no course refund. If the course is longer than two weeks, at our discretion, and in exceptional circumstances, a credit will be given for the unused part of the course beyond the two weeks. This may be used within one year and cannot be transferred to another student.
