Frequently Asked Questions
When does the challenge start and finish?
The Language Challenge starts whenever you sign up and continues for 5 days.
What happens each day?
Each day, for the 5 days, I will send you an email with a task to complete. I’ll also provide you with ideas on how to complete the task. I regularly take part in the language challenge myself and post my results on my Instagram page @alpinelanguagecentre Tag me with your progress to help hold yourself accountable and see how others in the community are doing. #alpinelanguagecentre
Is the challenge appropriate for beginners or advanced learners?
The challenge is suitable for all levels, regardless or the language you are learning. I teach English and French, and have completed the language challenge in Spanish, German and Italian.
What if I am unhappy with the challenge?
I hope you love the challenge and enjoy taking part. However, it is completely free, and you are not compelled to take part each day. The tasks and ideas have been collated through years of experience and student feedback. The challenge is designed as a booster to get you back into, or start, learning a foreign language. If you only manage a few days of the challenge, that’s ok. Why not complete the challenge again next week, or even try it once a month?
